I'm Glad You Came...(Music Reference)..The Wanted

Oh my goodness... :)  I went to IHOP last night for free pancake day! ooooohhhh maaannn!! It was so scrumptious I would kill!  Hahaha! ....Okay, Not really GEEZ! :P  But yes it was funny, because yesterday was kinda a weird day... then I got home... and SURPRISE!!! I have 2 letters!!  One from Elder Hans Haroldsen and Elder Brooks Browning! :)  Man, it totally made my day!! :)  Hans letter was pretty straight forward and to the point.  Haha!  I guess with me being extremely wordy and expressive, it was a little bit of a let down.  But Hey!!  He does write really good letters!  He is probably just super busy with all that crazy hard work he's doin down there :)  Well, at least, I hope he is :)  And Brooks.  Hahaha!  It's actually a pretty great story with how I know this kid :)  Well, I met Tanner, his younger brother, in my Junior seminary class and took him on a spur of the moment date!  And at our Mother's Day Devotional, we found our mom's dad's taught seminary together AND in high school they went on a Heritage Trip together!  SSAYYY WHAAA!!???  oh wait the story gets better...  So yeah, I knew OF Brooks because I knew Tanner, but then about 4 months ago, my uncle came to visit from Eden Prairie, Minnesota and said, "hey, I know someone from Shelley!  I said really who? He said his name starts with a 'b' and he was home-schooled..." I asked in a slow-like curious manner, "Browning??" "Yeah!" He responded.  Turns out, Brooks served in my uncles ward!  My uncle is the Bishop of that ward!  SMALL WORLD!!  Twice in one lifetime with the same two families but different sides???!!!  How does this all even work out!?  Haha!!  I love things like that!!  So, I wrote Brooks to say hey guess what, I know your family and your family knows mine, plus now we have an actual connection!  Haha!  I wasn't really expecting anything back from it, but hey I got one of THEE GREATEST letters of the history of great letters!!  :)  I liked it a lot.  So, I wrote back saying, hey thanks for the awesome letter and hope all is well, with some other cool spiritual insights, and we have been writing back and forth since Decemberish :)  It makes me happy!!  He writes some good letters!  So does Tanner!!  I seriously love that family!  How many times can I say that on my blog before it gets creepy ;)  haha!!  Yeah, it is pretty great!  But yeah, so I wrote Brooks back and sent it this morning.  But, I haven't finished Hans yet!  I am kinda wishing that the letters might get longer from him because out of all the missionaries I have been writing his are the shortest.  Not that I really care, he's just so important to me and I put soooo much effort in making his letters really enjoyable, spiritual, with a pinch of awesomeness and I get 2 1/2 paragraphs.... :P  Well, I guess you may say, he's just the typical guy, but he's so much more!!  He is one amazing guy!! :) I am just saying! :)  So, after I went home and worked on my homework a little bit after devotional, which was pretty amazing, if I may say so myself, Kenz burst into our day and said wanna go to IHOP?  We said sure!!  :)  So we hopped into her car and when we went to the freeway me and Kayla asked, wait where are we going? haha!  Well, the only IHOP around is in Idaho Falls, DURR!!!  Haha!!  So yeah.  It was great!  Hayley O'Brian and I talked in the back seat talking about fun dates we should go on the ENTIRE way!!  It was fun!!  Then, when we got to IHOP 7 of us sat in the booth.  Kayla Hansen, Kenzi Ch...Joh...Leonardson (P.S. kenz you know I love you!! I had to :D), Hayley O'Brian, Rachael Versey, Ash (Rach's Roomie), Grant, and I!! :)  It was the funnest I have had in a while :)  haha!!  It was filled with footsies, jokes, syrup, eggs, and just laughs GALORE!!  :)  We were definitely the loud group in the whole place. One of the guys that worked there said we were the funniest group so far that entire day!  It was so much fun!!  Then on the way home we listened to music, even Grant backed us up on a hymn with some beat-boxing! It was fun!! :)  We even had some times of closeness and rubbing shoulders (if your catching the drift I am sending your way everyone) ;)  It was fun!!  Then we went and worked out, got home had some cereal, watched Seinfield and The Tuxedo with Jackie Chan!  :P  Haha!!  It was pretty late before me and Kayla finally got to bed!  I just got to say..... I love college!!  SOOO MUCH!!  :)  Well, tomorrow I am doing a 24 hour fast to figure out the best option for my new major....  Or maybe I'm just doubting... We'll have to see!  Then a temple trip Friday morning, and possibly afternoon!  Is that okay to go to the temple twice in one day??  I would think so :)  Haha!!  Well then my Grand Piano thing on Saturday... EEEEPPPPP!!!! SOOOOO FREAKING NERVOUS!!! :P  I hope I do well.... :)  Now to find my outfit!

OH MY GOSH!!! This week was NUTS!!  I really enjoyed yesterday!!  My food of yesterday consisted of brownie, fried chicken, french fries, cookie dough, and popcorn.  HUZZAH!! :) Church was wonderful and I even played a music number I practiced a total of 4 times... Yeah...  I should probably stop doing that :P  But yeah and I just gotta say... I love my visiting teachers!!  They are so great!  we just sat laughed and talked for like an hour yesterday!! Haha!!  On Friday, Jordan, Houston and Brennan came up and we went to the Smith Building and played sardines, or like Jordan likes to say, Fish in the Dark!  Haha silly boy!  But it was so much fun!!  I love those guys:)  Saturday was a day that kinda blurred into Sunday.  It consisted of a lot of practicing and volleyball!  Haha but it was super fun!! :)  Oh!  On Friday, I found out I MADE GRAND PIANO LIVE!!  SAY WHAAAA!!???  Oh my Lanta, I am so very excited!  I haffta dress up in 90's attire and I just hope and pray that I will do well!  ... I think I might need to change my major... I just love the major I am in right now..  So much!!  and it just doesn't feel right... So I am going to the temple a few times this week and fasting too!  I can't afford to just play around!  I had it all planned! grrrr.. :P  But hey thats life :)  And I have to figure out if this American History/Church History tour will be a good idea!  I have so much to decide and prepare for in the next two weeks!  Whoraaww!! :P  Oh my goodness!  I saw this guy the other day… I swear I was having an out of body experience!!  He looked EXACTLY like Hans and I stopped in my tracks because I knew it wasn’t possible!!!  I almost ran up to him and gave him the biggest hug of my life.  But instead… I just stared… Haha then he waved to me and I realized, oh my gosh I probably look soooooo creepy right now.. J  So I waved and walked away really fast!  It was actually pretty funny!  Hahaha!  J  Well, it is making a lot easier that I have Kayla, Kenz, Emily, and Linds. J  Man, do I REALLY love those guys.  Hahaha! I got my first letter from Tanner yesterday!! J  It was SUCH A GREAT LETTER!!! J  it made me so super happy but after made me kinda miss him even more! !! It was so great!  It made me laugh!  Haha!! But I went to his house for a little get together and I just love his family so much!   Life is so great!  I even got to talk to my mom for like 40 minutes yesterday!  It was great!  I miss talking to her and telling her my funny stories!  My sisters too! :)  I think Kia and Tilly might be coming up this weekend!  I am so excited!  And if I'm lucky, Ellie will come up too!! :)  I am way too excited!  Well, Peace out my friends!! :)

What a Week!

So this week... I had a fabulous weekend full of lovely breaks from school and fun times with the roomates!  I started working out hard core on Tuesday and I love it!!  I am so super sore but by the time swim suit season comes along..  OOOOHHH BUDDY will I be ready!!! :)  Oh and I tried out for 90's Piano Night.  Oh and turns out.... if I make it... It's a pretty big deal... Kinda like Guitars Unplugged... But for Pianos:P and wow!!! Let me just say....  Going to a college FULL of hand holding, engaged, date-happy people is kinda difficult.  Haha!  Let's just say, Tauni hasn't came off from the "being a wall flower"  quite yet.  I know that I am a very zealous girl when I say, I want to find the right guy, or at least potentially the one I want to spend forever with, to share that special kiss, that special title of girlfriend...  Will that day ever come?  It seems the more I wait, and just be myself, and love life... the more sad and just discouraged, I guess that I get.  I am trying SO hard to be positive, so very positive.  I am very happy with my life and I just CAN'T wait for my prince to come along.  He just seems to be taking his own sweet time :P  Haha!  I dunno.  I know timing is everything and I am a big person on "everything happens for a reason".  I guess I am just trying to embrace life as it comes at me and I WILL take on my challenge to be positive in my life and be my perfect soul mate... because they are looking for me as well.  Well, Shout out to my future husband wherever you may be.... I'm here and one day, I will be all you are looking for...

Oh Love, School, and Frustration

Oh my goodness!!  This weekend has seriously been an emotional rollercoaster!! And usually I love rollercoasters but when its an emotional one, it's kinda like having motion sickness on your favoritest ride!! :P  GRRRRR!!  Haha!! :)  Well this monday for FHE we had a ton of fun doing, ya know, what we do, and then we played fugitive!! :)  It was super fun!!! :D  Hhahaha!!  Then on Tuesday... I didn't go to any of my classes..... yeah I know I know..... I didn't go on Wednesday either...  It's kinda been super hard for me to even comprehend this week!!  I think it started going down when Tanner texted me Tuesday....  Yeah... For one it was Valentines Day!!!  Wow.... I SERIOUSLY HATE Valentines... Its completely pointless!!  It's just an extra day for couples to be all over each other and ugh... Honestly....  I don't care that I don't have that "special someone"... its just a real subtle reminder I guess :P  Haha!!  But I got to spend it with my roommies and Kenz!! ;)  I loved!!  We ate at Rumbi in Idaho Falls and then went to The Vow and...  hmmmm kinda disappointing, not to emphasize the fact that romantic movies are really good but not really my favorite unless I'm feeling super girly!!! :P  Haha!! then onto Wednesday...
I spent ALL day practicing for an audition that... oh wait for it.... that is NEXT WEEK!!!  Hahaha!! :) awesome!! :)  Well then today, Katelyn came over!! :)  I love that girl :)  Yeah it was pretty great!!  Oh and I discovered the missing remote :)  IN MY BACKPACK!!! haha!! :)  Great week so far and just got back from a seminar of a guy that worked at PIXAR:)  Super awesome!!  It reminded me about Tanner but hey I like friendly reminders of my favoritest people!! :)

What A WEEKEND!!!!?????!!

Man today was pretty great! :) Actually this whole weekend was absolutely AMAZING!!! :)  Yesterday, I spent the bulk of the day working on my Backstreet Melody that I am going to play for 90's Piano Night... Okay, that's jumping the gun a little bit.. :P  I actually have to audition first.... I REALLY HOPE I MAKE IT!!! :)  I put together about 5 songs... "Incomplete", "Quit Playing Games With My Heart", "As Long as You Love Me", "I Want It That Way", "Everybody", and "Larger Than Life." Sooooo, I guess that is actually 6!  Haha!! :D It's 8 minutes long, but I'm not gonna lie.... I actually like it A LOT!!! :) I hope everyone else likes it as much as I do!!! :)  Then, I went to lunch with Lindsey Nelson!!! WOW!!! Do I miss that girl!!!???? YEEESSSS!!!! It was DELICIOUS!!! :)  And then I came home and made me a fort in my bedroom with Lindsey House!!! :)  We got our yummy popcorn and cookie milkshakes, climbed in, and watched a couple of SUPER MESSED UP scary movies!! :P  It was intense!!!  I think I should probably not watch so many of them....  They don't really get to me unless there are possessed little kids oddly.....  Haha!!  Or old people!!! *SHIVER DOWN MY SPINE*  oh my goodness it gives me the CREEPS!!!  But yeah then we just talked about funny things out in the living room for a little bit!  :) I love my roommates!!  But today.... WOW!! So, I wanted to look super good today!! I got up to shower and blowed dried my hair... I eventually just ran out of time... :(  But Whatev's!!  It was still great!!  I went to Tanner Browning's farewell!!!  OH MY GOSH was that kid just ABSOLUTELY AAAAAAMMMMMMMMMAAAAAZZZZZINGGGG!!!  :)  Wow!! He continues to blow my mind with his courage and strength to work so hard in the Lord's work!!  He is going to make such a great missionary!! :)  He talked a little in Russian and wow..... SUCH A GREAT GUY!! Let me tell ya!! I love that kid!! Hahaha!!  Me and Kayla actually KISSED him on the cheek today!!!  Haha!! Kayla's, he totally dodged and mine, mostly a surprise, just sounded odd :P  Haha!! It was super awesome!! :) then I went home for a bit and saw my wonderful family.... DRAMA with my sisters weekend... I do have to say, I miss listening to their ridiculous dramatic stories!! :) Love ya sisters, but you know its true!! :D  And I even watched Ramona and Beezus while writing Elder Browning a letter!! :)  Super cute movie!! :) but then we went to Brownings house and had a blast!! :)  His family totally makes me laugh!! :)  They are some of my favoritest people!!!! :)  I wish, Tanner Robert "Roger";) Browning, my friend, luck!! :)  You will do so very great!!  Stay strong, and remember who you are!!! Love you!! And don't you forget it :)!!  See you in two years...... I'll miss you like crazy.. stay in touch and see ya around!!  This isn't goodbye!!  This is a hello to a wondrous new life experience :) RIP IT OFF LIKE A BANDAID!! :P  Gotta love my friends!!  :)  Well, I am back in Rexburg, and frankly.... Missing You.... Missionaries... but still smiling on :)

Man... this last week has been pretty great!! :)  I Went on a date Monday.... Not really a repeater... but its cool! W..... haha and my date/hangout on Saturday was AMAZING!!! I love that kid, Grant! But only as a friend... I couldn't see myself liking him more than that.. :)  And the Barbershop concert was amazing!! I sat by Kayla and Grant and it was sooo great!!! I loved it so much!! :) then Sunday.... My missing people hit me hard core... :( But I think the hardest thing about this week is missing my little missionary friends!!  I swear the world wants me to have an emotional breakdown!! Haha!! I WILL NOT GIVE IN!!!!  This week has been going by so fast!! I can't even believe I am going into the 7th week of school!! SOOOO WEIRDD!!!  I absolutely love my roommates!! :)  We have started watching Gilligan's Island and hahaha!! I love it!! It makes me laugh!!  Oh and this week, I had a project due for my intro to graphic design class and on Monday, I went to the Library and I worked on my project with Kenz and yeah we met this guy named Hunter!  He was super cool and helped me make my project look legit!!  But no... I had to print it on the wrong size board and it even bulged!! I was soooooo mad!! All well though :P haha!! And for FHE this week we went to watch Hugo!! :) I actually really liked it!!  Me, Kayla, and Emily all sat next to each other and had soooo much fun!!! :) there was a part in the movie when Hugo almost gets hit by a train and OH MY GOSH!!! Hahaha it was so funny us three were all like  " AWWWWW NOOO!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? MOVE DUDE!!!! OH MY GOSH!!!"  just yelling and squealing and we were in a huge movie theatre!  Haha yeah!!! We gots us Tanner disease ;P!!  HAhahaha!! But yeah It was super fun!!!  but yeah the rest of this week was pretty great!  Tonight I am going to "Singin in the Rain"  And I am dressing up like a 20's girl!!! Well to an extent! :D  I am SOOOOO super excited!!! I can't wait!!! Hahaha!! then tomorrow I go to a couple seminars and then party it up with the roomies til Sunday, when I go to Tanner's farewell......  he is going to do so great!! I am going to miss that kid though.....  SOO MUCHH!!!!  It's okay!  We already said we are going to be pen pals :)  I can't wait!!! :)  But at the same time... I can for a little bit longer!!  So yeah... I'll probably skype or call him before I leave cuz I didn't get to do that with Hans!  Dang!! Oh and I did a Dear Elder Letter last night!! :) I liked it!! :)  Thank you internet!!!

Its Finally Friday! F-F-F-Ffridaayy! :)

Hahaha!! :) Today has been such a great day!! :) Even though my bangs totally curled backwards... WHAT THE FRENCH!!?? haha! :) yeah.  Yesterday, I had a pretty great day! I was in such a great mood!  I was walking home with Rachael Versey across the crosswalk when a car came up and I thought it was going to hit us.... I think that was the point! Haha!  So I pulled Rachael's arm and the people in the car stopped and were laughing.  I laughed too, wishing I could climb into that car and give that boy a noogie!! Little punk :P  But yes it was pretty funny!  When I got home, there were biscuits on the stove and oohhhhhh maaaaaannnn did I want those biscuits!!!  So I said casually, "Who's biscuits?"  And Becca said, "oh those are mine but I don't think I am going to eat them.. You can finish them if you would like?" Would I like???!!! YEEEESSS!!! :D but then I ran into a slight problem..... NO GRAVY!!  Then I realized I had NO CLUE how to even make gravy... So I pulled up a recipe online and I tried to come up with the ingredients.  No Chicken Broth or Cornmeal.... UUMMMM Improvise...  I grabbed the chicken pieces and said to my roommate Emily, "Do you think I could just wring the juice out of the chicken?" In a complete joking manner... She thought I was serious and just looked dumb-founded thinking, "You SERIOUSLY think that will work?"  Of course not! haha! After making it, hmmmm good!! :)  Then I interviewed Tanner about being home schooled and it was pretty interesting to be honest! :)  It was really good!  Then Jon Muir skyped me and my computer was being retarded and so we used Kaylas!  Then her brother came over and wow!! What a FUN night!!! :)  I Even got a letter today from Elder Brooks Browning!! :) I love his letters :D Super Sweet!!! :) I think I am going to eat at Pizza Pie Cafe tonight! :) This weekend is going to be great! :) Barbershop Concert with a new friend! and old movies, and hopefully Chinese food!! :) It will be AWESOME!!! :)

Biggest Update EVER!!

I am having the time of my life!! :D I love my classes and my teachers, even though I'm pretty sure I am loving Tuesdays and Thursdays TONS better than the other days :P  I love my roommates!  Sadly, I don't get a lot of sleep because they are so awesome!  Lindsey House is one awesome chick!  We get along super well and I just absolutely love her!  Kayla Hansen, of course is by bunk mate, even though their really isn't any bunks.  Haha! Yeah its pretty great!  We stayed up until 2 A.M. talking about how we met and getting married and just all that jazz! :D turns out we actually became friends freshman year not sophomore year! Say WHAAAA??!!!  Haha yeah it was a real wake up call! We were friends for an extra year! Huzzah!! :D And I love my roomie Emily!! :D I love her so much! :) We get along so well!! :) Man, I am so very grateful for music!  It is so amazing to me!  It can put me in the best mood no matter what music it is!  If it flows, or it staccatos, holds, or even just jump around, I don't mind! I love it all!  Absolutely LOVE IT ALL!!  I love to sing while I play the piano too!  It just gives me more of a sense of beauty in the song and I can put my full heart into it! :D  Honestly, I wish I was taking more music classes, but at the same time, I don't because I love just doing it on my own time for me :)  Well, this week has been pretty dandy, I must say!  This last weekend, I had a living room sleepover with Kayla, Lindsey, and Mckenzie! :)  Man SOOOOO MUCH FUN!!! I almost broke the TV with my foot doing a cartwheel on the bouncy beds and we were a bit rambunctious with playing spoons and going crazy!! Haha!  It was so much fun!! I went to Hans Haroldsen's farewell.  Wow, that kid continues to amaze me!! :D  He is going to do so great!  I wish he would see me though.  Honestly, I love that kid and I would love to be great friends with him.  I'm hoping his mission will kinda help him appreciate all the hard work I put into him even knowing I existed!:) He will do GREAT things!  Also last weekend, I went home and saw my wonderful family! Wow!  It is so weird!  I feel like I am living a double life like a spy or something!  Seriously!  Who are these grown up kids that have funny jokes and are cool but still annoy me to a point!? :P  Man, I love my family!! So much!  I honestly miss my sisters!  Late night talks watching New Girl, Pretty Little Liars, and The Lying Game with them!! :( I also hung out with Anna, Michaela, Jordan, and Tanner!! :D Man.... I just loved going to watch movies with them!! :)  I really enjoyed the movie, Extremely Loud, Incredibly Close.  Wow! I would watch it A MILLION TIMES!!! :D It has Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks in it! It really churned all of my emotions, like butter! :P  Haha! It was about a kid that had a father that was in the Twin Towers and.... man it was really an amazing movie!!! :D  The same day I watched Real Steel with Hugh Jackman in it!  WOoOwzzaa is that man SEXY!! :D  Haha!! :)  It was actually a movie I really enjoyed... And wait for it....... BREAKING DAWN FOR THE..... SIXTH TIME!!! Yes! It's getting a bit on the pathetic side!  It's kosher though! I got to chill with The Tanner Browning and Anna Williams :) I really love hanging out with those guys!!  Cheesy pick up lines are definitely my favorite... Along with Awkward Moments!! :D
This week I have done a plethora of awesomeness!! :)  On Monday, we had FHE and we went to the Taylor Building and ate chicken fettuccine and breadstick! :) YUUUMMM!!!  Then we had a mock band thing for our activity when we just put together randomness and sing to songs!! :) We got Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus! XP KILLLLL MEEEE!!! haha!  But when we got up there... It was a bit boring... So obviously I needed to stand on a table!! :)  I'm pretty sure my ward knows who I am now! :) High school craziness only MAGNIFIED!!! :)  Then Tuesday, I went to a play with Anna, Tanner, and my new friend Melissa! :) It was super fun!  It was a homeschooler play.  They usually do Shakespeare but they did just a normal play this time and it was called, "The Light Princess."  A bit cheesy for my liking but Gotta love it at the same time!  Tanner provided the treats with the homemade sourdough bread applied with SUPER THICK GOODNESS HONEY BUTTER! :) Man, was it delicious you ask???  HECK YES!!! :)  It was fun!  Then we went grocery shopping and it was pretty great! :) I wish I could see Tanner and we could hang before he leaves..... :(  but I honestly don't know if that is going to happen...  I really REALLY hope we do though!  That kid is one amazing dude! :)  He is just HILARIOUS beyond compare and he is musically educated!  BEAUTIFUL talent and INCREDIBLY handsome! :)  Now, don't get the wrong impression. I don't like the kid, he just is one awesomely awesome guy that any girl could hope for!! You know the guy you wish to have but just not that one at the time?? haha! I dunno! :P Silly! :D Well, I am hoping to get my dating groove on... Any suggestions?? :) Haha!
